USNA volunteers help create the programs, traditions, and connections that strengthen our school community. Whether you are interested in an ongoing role, a one-time event, or simply lending a hand when your schedule allows, there are many ways to get involved.

From Fall Fest to Artclectic, Music Night REMIX, Spring Book Frenzy, and Evening Classes, USNA's signature events depend on volunteers to help bring each experience to life. Whether you have one hour or want to take on a larger role, there's a place for you. Learn more about our signature events.
Caring & Concern
Help support USN families during times of need by coordinating meals and other thoughtful acts of care. Caring & Concern representatives work alongside each division to respond when members of our community could use additional support.
Faculty & Staff Appreciation
Help recognize and celebrate USN’s faculty and staff through appreciation events, meals, and other expressions of gratitude throughout the year.
Hospitality
Assist with events and initiatives that welcome and support faculty, staff, families, and guests across the USN community.
Library Volunteers
Support the Hassenfeld Library by shelving books, organizing materials, and assisting with special projects and activities.
Lower School Room Parents & Middle School Advisory Parents
Serve as a liaison between teachers and families while helping coordinate communication, classroom support, celebrations, field trips, and other activities throughout the school year.
Parent Social Hosts
Help create welcoming grade-level gatherings where parents and guardians can connect with fellow families. Hosts work with grade-level volunteers to plan and coordinate each social.
Dads Alliance
Dads Alliance welcomes dads and father figures who want to help strengthen the USN community through volunteer service, school events, and community-building. As part of USNA, the committee helps support school-wide programs and provides another welcoming way for families to get involved.
Tiger Arts Patrons
Tiger Arts Patrons, or TAP, supports arts programming at USN through performances, exhibitions, special events, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Tiger Club
Tiger Club promotes school spirit and supports USN athletics through volunteer service, concessions, recognition events, tournaments, and other athletics-related initiatives.

Everyone who works with students in our K-12 setting has a responsibility to protect the safety and well-being of students.
We ask all volunteers to complete a quick information form and watch a short video designed for volunteers in K-12 schools who have supervised access to children. The "Shine a Light" video covers concrete ways to recognize, prevent and report sexual misconduct.
