Tigers and Eagles Throw Down at BA
Our match at BA started off with a spirited 'Tigers on 3' cheer and quickly got down to business with the Tigers battling the Eagles for points and pride. BA won the points on line 1 and 2 Singles and lines 1 and 2 doubles. Down but now out, parents and teammates cheered for the remaining match on court. Nerves were on display.
The match of the day belonged to Audrey, line 3, playing a scrappy opponent tit for tat. On this hot day, the player who could withstand the heat and maintain composure, hitting one more ball than her opponent was Audrey coming out on top in a nail-biting finish 9-7.

Her teammates ran to the court to congratulate her!
We may have only come away with one point for the overall match, but the feeling of a hard-fought win for the team was priceless!
