Tennis Tigers Cage Harding Hawks

The USN Spirit Night warmed up at the River Campus Courts this afternoon.
Our Tennis Tigers were ready for the match against the Harding Hawks and stepped up in TIGER fashion with a peppy warm up and lots of excitement.

Our Singles Sisterhood--CC, Elizabeth and Audrey-took the courts and brought their growl to their opponents.  The plan was--consistency, first serves and PING-our new version of hitting at least 4 balls in a rally, expecting to hit one more ball than their opponent!
Elizabeth captured the first point for the team on line 2 easy peasy, while our Doubles Divas, Charlotte and Sydney, duked it out on their court, coming up with our second team point.  Applause on court 1 for CC's win tipped their tight match score to 3 for our Tigers.  Fresh off her nail biting win at BA, Audrey had the comeback win of the day, finding herself down 3-7 (playing an 8 game pro set) and rallying to win 7 straight games to capture her team point with a 9-7 victory!!  Hattie and Rose brought their doubles win to the team to claim the SWEEEEEP of the Harding Hawks.
Great work today, Tigers!
Eloise, Claire, Hadley, Mattie James, Imaan, Parker, Syra and Lucy jumped on the courts for short set matches, finishing just in time to race back to USN for SPIRIT NIGHT!
