Congratulations to Eesha Nachnani ‘28 on being selected as a U.S. Agency for International Development Science Champion at a Regeneron International Science and Engineering-affiliated science fair.
She also earned an honorable mention in the Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair this spring for “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Cardiology: A comparison of ChatGPT, Gemini and Bing system.” Eesha worked with Vanderbilt University researchers to assess the accuracy of three AI softwares when presented with real-life clinical case scenarios in cardiology.
“Our findings were that when presented with clinical scenarios the AI platforms were only around 50% accurate with not much difference in between the three AI platforms,” Eesha said. “Our next project is to find out how we can improve these systems.”
