USN played their best game of the season as they got an impressive win over Valor to move onto the Semifinals tomorrow. They will face the winner of Lipscomb Academy Gold and Lipscomb Academy Purple.
This was a big game for USN and they were able to take the challenge head on. Beating a good Valor team that was ready for them, USN was able to produce the best match of the season by far. In the first game, Allen recorded a 103, Sandy recorded a 120, Finn recorded his career high of 132, and Francisco recorded a game high 146. We were able to get 3 points from the wins and 2 extra by winning the pinfall 647-610. In the second game, Joshua recorded a 101, Vincent recorded a 107, Finn recorded a 115, and Francisco recorded another game high of 130. USN was able to get 4 points from the wins and win pinfall 620-559. USN would win the total pinfall 1267-1169 and win the points battle 13-6. We will play tomorrow against Lipscomb.
Students from around the region, including 37 USN students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, gathered in Durnan Auditorium to participate in the Regional Great History Challenge.
During Convocation on Tuesday, May 13 in Durnan Auditorium, University School of Nashville will recognize Distinguished Alumnus Chris Bradshaw '00 for nourishing communities in need and welcome the Class of 2025 into the PDS/USN Alumni Association.
