Spirit Night Fun!

The Tigers continue to execute new ways to score and continue to have a variety of players step up in big moments! The fun and the growth led to an awesome two sets where the Tigers maintained the pace of play and won 25-15 and 25-14.
On Spirit Night the Tigers felt the energy and adrenaline from new and old fans! Clementine Meador '31 started off the set with nine aces, attacking different zones across the court. With their confidence high, early on Clementine Meador '31 connected a pass to Kelliana Olson '31, who had a great set for Lauren Koethe '31 which earned them an electric kill! The Tigers stayed aggressive on the net, which led to kills off free balls from Kate Jahangir '31 and Kelliana Olson '31! To top off a great defensive and offensive set, Anna Wolf '31 earned two aces of her own! The set ended 25-15.

In the second set Clementine Meador ‘31 earned another two aces, Cece Vogt ‘31 also added her own pair of aces, and Lauren Koethe ‘31 earned three! Team defense, notably from Clementine Meador ‘31 and Ayana Harris ‘31, who had some diving plays, helped maintain the Tiger’s serve. A connection between Clementine Meador ‘31 and Maddie Kim ‘31 earned the former a kill for the set, and then an Essie Boehler ‘31 pass to a Clementine Meador ‘31 set led to another kill from Lauren Koethe ‘31! These dynamic plays led the Tigers winning 25-14 in the second set!

On Spirit Night the Tigers were able to showcase all their hard work and dedication. It’s been a thrill watching this team change and develop before our very eyes! The Tigers will have another opportunity to host this week on Friday versus St. Paul. Come support these awesome student athletes! Go Tigers!
