In the first high school JV volleyball scrimmage of the season, DCA defeated USN 2-1 with set scores of 19-25, 25-15, and 15-10. DCA took the first set with a strong performance, while the Tigers seemed a little nervous. The Tigers settled and were able to bounce back to win the second set. In the final set, DCA secured the match with a long serving run. USN's standout players included Amelia with her impressive serves, Lulu Rose with powerful hits from the middle, and Maya with excellent passing. Despite the loss, USN’s spirited effort and skillful play made it an exciting game. The USN JV volleyball season is off to a wonderful start!
USN debaters claimed another championship at their first in-person tournament of the year at the Peach State Classic in Carrollton, Georgia. Congratulations to third-place speaker Madeline Shinohara ‘28, sixth-place speaker Eesha Nachnani ’28, and solo Varsity debater Charles Cook '27.
